About TimeTally

Building simple, powerful time tracking tools exclusively for UK small businesses. Designed in London, built for British employment law, and trusted by companies across England, Scotland, and Wales.

Our Mission

We built TimeTally after experiencing firsthand the frustration of chasing timesheets and managing employee hours across spreadsheets. As a UK-based team, we saw that most time tracking tools were built for the US market and bolted on UK compliance as an afterthought. There had to be a better way.

TimeTally was created to solve a simple problem: making time tracking and leave management effortless for UK small businesses. Working Time Regulations, statutory holiday entitlements, bank holidays, HMRC payroll requirements — these are built into TimeTally from the ground up, not added as optional extras. No complex features you'll never use. No expensive per-user pricing. Just straightforward software that does exactly what UK businesses need.

What We Stand For

Simplicity First

We believe software should be intuitive. If it takes more than 5 minutes to understand, we've failed. That's why most businesses are fully set up and tracking hours within 10 minutes of signing up.

Built for Small Businesses

We're not trying to compete with enterprise tools. We focus exclusively on what small UK businesses actually need — from construction firms and care homes to pubs, security companies, and professional services.

UK Compliance

Built by a UK team, for UK businesses. We understand Working Time Regulations 1998, statutory holiday entitlements (5.6 weeks), the Employment Rights Act 1996, UK GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our software stays current with changes to UK employment law.
