What types of absence can TimeTally track?

Can managers see absence for their own team only?

Yes. Manager access can be scoped to their own team. They see their team's absence requests, calendar, and balances — but not employees from other departments unless they are a company admin.

Can employees see their own absence history and remaining entitlement?

Yes. Every employee can see their own absence history, current balances for each leave type, and any pending requests through the TimeTally app or web browser. Full transparency reduces queries to HR and managers.

Can absence data be exported for payroll?

Yes. Absence data can be exported in CSV format or synced directly with Xero and QuickBooks. The export includes absence type, dates, and hours — everything your payroll provider needs to process accurately.

Does absence tracking work alongside the Bradford Factor?
