Statutory Entitlement

All UK workers are entitled to 5.6 weeks of paid holiday per year. For someone working 5 days a week, that's 28 days (which can include bank holidays).

Part-time workers get the same 5.6 weeks, pro-rated to their hours. TimeTally calculates this automatically based on each employee's working pattern.

Working Time Regulations

Since April 2024, holiday for irregular-hours and part-year workers is calculated as 12.07% of hours worked in a pay period.
